[Well, after quite a bit of advice, Snow knew what to do! First things first, she needed to bake! If this was her daughter, then surely she must have tried her famous pie! She thought a peach pie might be better than a gooseberry pie for the occasion. Something much sweeter for the conversation.

She knocked on Apple's door.]

Apple? [Should she call her honey? Would that be too strange?] Are you busy?

[It's not that Snow White didn't see Apple's mental breakdown request over the amulet.

It's that she didn't know what to do.

Because how could she have let this get this far? How could she not have noticed that Apple wasn't eating well, wasn't sleeping well?

But as she said to Apple, placing blame doesn't get anything done. It only makes the one who places it feel better. Although Snow White didn't think she would be feeling better any time soon until her daughter was well and healthy and happy once more.

She had a tray of all of Apple's favorites... even... even an apple pie which was the first one she had made since the incident but it was for Apple's sake. She was going to make sure Apple ate everything on the tray until there wasn't a crumb left. She knocked on Apple's door.]

Apple dumpling? Please open up.

Apple-chan,

I need to say something to you, and it's fine if you don't want to say anything back, or even accept it.

I want to apologize for what I said. I was being overly harsh and mean on a matter that I don't fully understand.

Like I said, you don't have to accept this or say anything in return. But, I am sorry.

Uhm, not sure how to start this off but... Usagi suggested I talk to you about what you're looking into. I mean, I'm trying to figure out how someone can make sure they never go back, ah... home if you can call it that.

[Not Christmas day, but Christmas Eve, Apple will find a very special apple pie in front of her bedroom door. As well as ruby apple earrings and a matching necklace. The box is special and makes sure the pies stay warm. Attached is a note.]

Apple will receive a box of chocolates. The card that comes with it merely reads "So you can have something sweet this Christmas" in neat cursive. There's a stamp of a blue snowflake at the bottom of the card, though. That might give him a clue as to who the gift is from. ]

[Along with the cookies Jane made, Apple will get a note, though her handwriting pales in comparison to Apple's.]

Merry Christmas, Apple! 2018 will definitely be better by leaps and bounds!
